he “Secure Parking” project is an infrastructure dedicated to truck drivers within the Cargo City Center of Milan Malpensa Airport. It covers an area of approximately 63,000 square meters, with 32,000 square meters allocated to the parking area, featuring 154 spaces reserved for heavy vehicles.
Access will be controlled through entry and exit gates equipped with monitoring systems to ensure the safety of both drivers and vehicles, supported by an efficient LED lighting system.
Within the parking area, there will be 9 spaces equipped with electric charging stations for refrigerated trucks and a single-story building of 800 square meters, featuring a panoramic terrace overlooking the Alps. The facility will offer various amenities, including restrooms and showers, a security office, a dining area with seating, and a relaxation zone.
This initiative aims to enhance the operational capacity of Cargo City by improving security and providing new services to support airport logistics
